Job Description
We are seeking a PHP Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, WordPress, HTML, React, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript). Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Understanding of the functioning of web frameworks such as Core PHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony or Yii.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
